Hi Team,
I am having FERT item for which i have in house production time as 3 days. For this FERT item, i do not have any routings. And also i have set defult operation in OPJG for my order type & plant.
I have BOM for this FERT item in which i have only one ROH item. For this ROH item, i have set the planned delivery time as 10 days.
Assumption:
1. GR processing time for the ROH & FERT item is ZERO
2. All the days are working days for this year including saturday & sunday (No holiday throughout this year).
3. No schedule margin key assigned for both ROH & FERT items.
4. For both my FERT & ROH the current stock is ZERO
Transaction Processing:
With this condition, i am getting one sale order for my FERT item today (26.07.2014) for the quantity 1 for which the delivery date also today.
With this condition, if i run MRP in MD02 with "Scheduling type as basic date determination", i am getting the planned order dates as below.
FERT Item:
Planned Order Start Date - 26.07.2014 (since order start date in past is not allowed, forward scheduling is carried out, keeping today's date as order start date)
Planned Order End Date: 29.07.2014 (Order start date + 3 days of in house production time)
ROH item:
Planned Order Start Date - 26.07.2014
Planned Order End Date: 05.08.2014 (Order start date + 10 days of planned delivery time)
In worst case, assume that the vendor is supplying the ROH item on 05.08.2014 only. Without this item i can not start my production. How MRP can propose the order start date for my FERT item as 26.07.2014 WITHOUT considering the end date of the ROH item? How to proceed with MRP proposed date for this case?
