Unable to see .UNX Universes in IS 4.1 SP2

Hello,

My customer is unable to see .unx type universes in Information Steward 4.1 SP2, but is able to see the .unv types.

I have seen this issue posted a few times and it is referenced in the version's release notes, but I can't find a SAPNote or solution anywhere. I assume a patch or note needs to be applied, but I need a specific solution.
