I am wondering why are you not using Asset transfer feature (Inter Co Asset Transfer) if you are going to take over at Net Book Value only...
If the assets will be revaluated and then taken over, then better option is you Dr the Asset Account and Credit the Takeover Consideration account (Normal GL Account).. You can do this from ABSO as well or from ABZON.. (ABSO gives you the flexibility to enter offsetting GL of your choice)
