i'm curious why solman calculates queue that contains all lower EHP supportpacks when note 1064635 - SAP ERP Enhancement Packages: SP Stacks Release Info Note clearly says that higher EHPs contain all functionality of previous EHPs.
When we upgraded 6.0 system to ehp4 (some years ago), we had to go to EHP3 and then to EHP4. All installed by SAINT with no need to install EHP1/EHP2 packages.
Currently we are upgrading 6.04 to 6.17, solman calculated queue that contains 605,606 and 617 packages of same components. According to note above I understand that 617 does not have to be installed after 605/606 packages, because it already contains them within.
am i correct, or i just misinterpreted it?
