There is no such manual for mandatory fields. Please refer some important settings to be done before creating BP master data.

1. Customer groups

2. Currencies

3. Price list

4. Tax

5. AR control accounts

Same way need to setup for item master data also

1. Item group

2. ware house

3. GL accounts
